Tirupur: Remarking Rajnikanth's announcement of not supporting any party in the upcoming Parliamentary election as a 'clever' move, MLA U. Thaniyarasu in Tirupur opined that "As chances of PM Modi to lose in the upcoming Parliamentary elections is pretty high, Rajinikanth has cleverly announced that he would not support any party".
After taking part in the inauguration event of new TNSTC buses in Tirupur, the MLA and Founder of 'Kongunattu Ilaignar Peravai' which presently is in alliance with AIADMK expressed that talks between AIADMK and BJP for coalition is very disappointing.
"By implementing anti-people projects in the State, the BJP government has earned nothing but the grief and anger of the Tamil Nadu people. Modi's government has failed to pay heed to the demands of the State. Hence, people of TN will never vote for BJP or their coalition parties", he noted.
"It's heart-renching to learn that the possibilities of coalition between AIADMK and BJP is high. Our party has urged CM and Deputy CM to refrain from forming an alliance with BJP, however it looks like the alliance is almost through. In this scenario, we will be re-evaluating our stance of alliance with AIADMK", noted MLA Thaniyarasu.
The MLA also suggested that TTV Dinakaran and AIADMK should join hands and contest in the upcoming elections.
