Tirupur: MLA Udumalai Radhakrishnan has assured that farmlands which became fodder for Chinnathambi while he was contained in Udumalai will be compensated for their loss shortly.
Tirupur: MLA Udumalai Radhakrishnan has assured that farmlands which became fodder for Chinnathambi while he was contained in Udumalai will be compensated for their loss shortly.
He was here in Tirupur to inaugurate the new busses that were allocated for Tirupur. He flagged of 16 new busses from Tirupur which will add more connectivity to Trichy, Pudhukkottai and other parts of TN.
While attending the function, Mr. Radha Krishnan, who is the legislator for Animal Husbandry in TN assured the farmers that they will be compensated appropriately for the crop loss caused due to Chinnathambi being hauled up near their farms. He also said that Chinnathambi is now safe in Top Slip and that assessment is ongoing for the crop losses he caused while in Udumalai.
He also confirmed that the Veterinary Hospital in Tirupur South will be upgraded to a 24/7 Veterinary Polyclinic which will help in getting advanced treatments for live stock.
The function was also attended by District Collectors and other MLAs.
