Coimbatore: Social activist Traffic Ramaswamy is presently protesting at RS Puram here against removal of illegal banners in the city.

Traffic Ramaswamy tore 3 illegal banners at RS Puram in Coimbatore. He also attempted to tear the Jallikattu banner that had a photo of Minister SP Velumani.

The Police stopped him from doing so and assured to remove the banner. But Traffic Ramasamy protested by lying down in front of the banner urging to remove the banner immediately. He also warned that he will not leave the spot until the banner is removed.

"I will file a plea with the Court on these illegal banners", he stated.
Inspite of police trying to pacify him, 85-old traffic Ramasamy is continuing his protest in front of the banner at RS Puram.
