Coimbatore : BSNL employees in Coimbatore have proposed to go on a strike for three days from February 18.

The employees along with their family members carried out a rally from BSNL office near Railway Station to Race Course Road urging to implement their 8-point demands including revision of pension. They also putforth to expand 4G service across the nation.

Later, they said, "BSNL is providing various services to people at affordable cost. Sadly, government is not ready to take any measure to take it to the next level. While a huge sum of amount is ready as funds from private companies and public sector banks; the government has banned BSNL from getting loans".

"Due to this, government is unable to meet our demands", they note
