PSG Hospitals creates awareness to dispel myths on organ donation

Coimbatore: A one day programme was organised by PSG Hospitals to sensitize people on organ donation.

Coimbatore: A one day programme was organised by PSG Hospitals to sensitize people on organ donation. 

"The programme aimed to promote organ donation and dispel the myths and misconceptions that surround organ donation", according to a statement.

Dean of Coimbatore medical college hospital, Dr.P. Asokan and Dr. Gandhimathi were the special guest for the day. 

The programme also threw light on the huge gap which exists between patients who need organ transplants and availability of potential donors. 



Several doctors, para medical staff from other hospitals were also part of this awareness programme.
