Two army personnel from Tamil Nadu among 41 killed in terror attack in Kashmir

Kashmir: In the worst ever terror attack in Kashmir, about 41 CRPF personnel were killed in the Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir yesterday. Among those killed were two army personnel from Tamil Nadu.


Kashmir: In the worst ever terror attack in Kashmir, about 41 CRPF personnel were killed in the Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir yesterday. Among those killed were two army personnel from Tamil Nadu. 

According to reports, a security convoy of 70 vehicles with CRPF personnel was travelling down a major highway toward the city of Srinagar from Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir, yesterday. Unexpectedly, an explosion-laden vehicle driven by a suicide bomber rammed into one of the buses leading to a heavy explosion. At least 41 CRPF personnels were feared to be killed in this terrorist attack that occurred about 3.15 pm on February 14. 

Meanwhile, banned terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed has claimed responsibility for the attack. According to reports, the suicide bomber was identified as Adil Ahmad Dar, a school dropout.
