Coimbatore : There’s no chance for AIADMK MPs to join AMMK said Nilgiris MP Gopalakrishnan today when he landed here in Coimbatore airport.
He addressed the press upon landing and he said “Nilgiris needs more trains as it is a tourist hotspot. The government hospital needs an upgrade to match modern standards and the same has been requested in the Parliament.”
He also said that “AIADMK which is in the third largest party in the Parliament, will aim to jump to the second spot this time. It’s untrue that another alliance party will contest in the Nilgiris constituency. Whether I’m contesting or not will be decided by the party leadership. For the past 5 years, AIADMK MPs have done a sterling job in the Parliament”
When quizzed on alliance talks of AIADMK he said, “I can’t say anything regarding alliances. Alliance information, criticism of BJP by MP Thambidurai is his own personal opinion”
