Coimbatore : The road safety patrol (RSP) students of PSG Polytechnic College observed the Road Safety Week by conducting an awareness program on February 7 here.
The event was jointly inaugurated by Mr. Kodiselvan, Assistant Commissioner of Police (Traffic East), Coimbatore city, S. Sivaramakrishnan, Former Chief Traffic Warden, Tamil Nadu Police Traffic Wardens, Coimbatore, and Dr. B. Giriraj, Principal, PSG Polytechnic College.
The students volunteered to sensitize the public at signals on safe driving. Those motorists who abided by the traffic rules were honored and as a token of appreciation, smily batches and chocolates were given.
Students Union Faculty Advisor- Dr.V. Mohan Siva Kumar, N. Thampiraj, Road Safety Patrol Faculty Advisor and Mr. A. Kathiresan, NCC Officer guided the students.
