Tirupur : Two workers from Tirupur knitwear firms are among the 17 people who were killed in the fire that broke out at a hotel in Central Delhi’s Karol Bagh, on Tuesday.

Tirupur : Two workers from Tirupur knitwear firms are among the 17 people who were killed in the fire that broke out at a hotel in Central Delhi’s Karol Bagh, on Tuesday.

 According to reports, Nandhakumar (32) and Aravind (39) were among the dead. Nandhakumar, hailing from Karumathampatti Coimbatore resided with his wife and children at Perumanallur in Tirupur. 

He was working with Eastman Knitwear at Pichampalayam in Tirupur. Aravind was a resident of Rakkipalayam on Avinashi Road who was also working with the same firm and is survived by his wife and children. Both men had gone to Delhi on February 10 on office work but tragically died in the fire that broke out at a hotel in Central Delhi’s Karol Bagh.
