Coimbatore: A 35-year-old man was arrested under POCSO Act for sexually assaulting his daughter. According to sources, the accused was identified as Ramalingam, a resident of Vellimedu near Alanthurai in Coimbatore.
Coimbatore: A 35-year-old man was arrested under POCSO Act for sexually assaulting his daughter. According to sources, the accused was identified as Ramalingam, a resident of Vellimedu near Alanthurai in Coimbatore.
While Ramalingam was jobless, his wife Sudha alias Lakshmi was working in a private school. Ramalingam's daughter, who was studying in class VII in a government high school, was allegedly repeatedly assaulted by him every time she had come home for lunch, and thus impregnated.
Following this, a case has been registered against Ramalingam under POCSO Act in Perur All Women Police Station. Later, he was arrested and lodged in prison.
