Around 2500 police personnel, led by three DGP rank officers and 17 Superintendents of police are supervising the security arrangements.
The Prime Minister is schedule to lay the foundation stone for various government project and also address a BJP rally in Perumanallur, Tirupur on February 10.

The stage for the rally as well as for the government function and a helipad are being setup on a 70-acre land at Eattiveerampalayam, Tirupur. The DSP has also ordered to monitor lodging places and marriage halls in the District. He has also appealed to the public to provide information about any suspicious people roaming in the city to the police.
