On January 29, another school bus driver and conductor of the same school -- Vidyaa Vikas, molested a 4-year-old LKG child inside the bus after administering sedatives to her. Later, the duo were remanded under POCSO Act.

On January 29, another school bus driver and conductor of the same school -- Vidyaa Vikas, molested a 4-year-old LKG child inside the bus after administering sedatives to her. Later, the duo were remanded under POCSO Act.
However, the subsequent allegation of another bus driver of the same school in an inebriated school has been decisivelydenied by the School management who have also asserted that legal warning would be initiated against those who spread the video in social media.
The management has lashed it as an act to tarnish the name of the school.
Vidya Vikas School operates at Karamadai near Mettupalayam. On Monday, Nijamudeen, the school bus driver who drove the van through Periyanaickenpalayam to pick up the school children was waylaid near Samichettipalayam by the parents who alleged that the van driver was in an inebriated state. The public then handed over the driver at the Periyanaickenpalayam police station.
After being subjected to medical testing, reports revealed that the driver had no trace of alcohol present in his body. It is reported that the driver had consumed alcohol the day before the incident took place. However, based on the complaints from the parents, the school management terminated the driver.
