Coimbatore: Around 1000 people including NCC cadets, college students, officials of Oil Industry, PCRA team and general public took part in the walkathon organised by Coimbatore Depot of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited on Sunday.
Coimbatore: Around 1000 people including NCC cadets, college students, officials of Oil Industry, PCRA team and general public took part in the walkathon organised by Coimbatore Depot of Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited on Sunday.
The walkathon was organised as part of Saksham, a campaign aimed at oil and gas conservation - (Sanrakshan Kshamta Mahotsav), an initiative by Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas to spread awareness about conservation of oil and petroleum.
Earlier, Dean of PSG College of Technology, Dr K Natarajan along with Dr.Chitra, Principal Government Arts College and Col. Rajesh Nair jointly flagged of the rally at Government Arts College grounds.
