There has already been grumbling over the support extended to the JACTO GEO members by a few other government employees which caused trouble for officials. Sources accessible to Simplicity say that many teachers and staff who have returned on time for duty were unable to rejoin and work due to their suspensions, stating that the Government had faked its own staff.
Over two lakh names of teachers and staff are to be uploaded onto the website EMIS (Educational Management Informational System), and it is suspected that there will be pay cuts and cut of higher promotions, as per the circular. This has caused unrest and tension among the teachers once again.
"The School Education Department has played a great role in faking us," revealed a close source. It has also been said that around 19 teachers who were suspended and transferred in the Coimbatore region are to face pay cuts and miss promotions.
