Coimbatore : BJP National General Secretary, Muralidhar Rao has accused West Bengal Chief Minister, Mamata Banerjee of trying to protect corruptors and culprits.
Addressing the media in Coimbatore, the BJP National General Secretary said, "BJP is focusing keenly on the political developments in Tamil Nadu. In its five years tenure, BJP has proved to be excellent in both national and state politics.

We have aided development in all the sectors in the past five years, which the Congress could not do during its tenure. Prime Minister Modi will speak with party members and supporters through video conferencing on February 26.
On February 28, ‘Kamal Jothi,’ a lamp-lighting event in front of the house of BJP cadres will be held. We are ready for a coalition in Tamil Nadu and negotiations are on with a few parties, after which the details will be released," he added.
"Developments in West Bengal are against democracy since Mamata Banerjee is trying to protect the corrupters and culprits. BJP is not even allowed to carry out a rally in West Bengal. Political parties in Tamil Nadu that support Mamata Banerjee will understand only when they come across such situations," opined Muralidhar Rao. "We are also aware of Vaiko's criticism of all parties including the DMK and Congress in the past years. We are ready for debate anytime since we have proof with us. Whether he is ready is the question," he challenged.
