Coimbatore : As part of the 'Loan Camp' held at Thondamuthur, in Coimbatore yesterday, Rs.2 crores loan has been provided to 150 beneficiaries in three hours.
Minister S P Velumani said that a loan estimated at Rs.33.94 crores has been provided to 1,733 beneficiaries at the 'loan camp.' Minister S P Velumani inaugurated the awareness camp for entrepreneurs in an event at Kuniyamuthur and distributed loans estimated at Rs.16.67 crores to 621 beneficiaries.
Speaking at the event, Minister S P Velumani said, "In the camp that was held at Thondamuthur on January 27, Rs.8.5 crores loan was provided to 620 beneficiaries. Rs.10.77 crores was distributed as loan to 492 beneficiaries in the camp held at R S Puram. In the camp that was held today, Rs.16.67 crores was provided as loan to 621 beneficiaries. It is notable that Rs.2 crore loan was provided to 150 beneficiaries in three hours.
