Recently, Thanthi TV had released a survey in which it it was allegedly stated that Dr. Krishnaswami, Chief of the Puthiya Tamilagam party will lose if he contests at the Ottapidaram constituency. Condemning this, members of the party protested in front of the District Collectorate here.
As part of the protest, they burnt down an effigy, following which the Race Course Police have arrested six persons involved in the protest.
