3 men sentenced to 10 years in a murder case in Tirupur

Tirupur : The Tirupur Court has sentenced three men to 10 years imprisonment in a murder case.

Tirupur : The Tirupur Court has sentenced three men to 10 years imprisonment in a murder case. 



According to reports, in 2015, a tiff broke out between Senthil, Murugesan, Sekar, Sathis Kumar at Anupparpalayam in Tirupur. In the fight that ensued, Senthil sustained grievous injuries and died without responding to treatment, after a few days. Following this, his death was registered as a murder case.

During the hearing of the case at the Tirupur Court, the judge sentenced all the other three accused to 10 years of imprisonment and slapped on them a fine of Rs.2000. "Imprisonment will be extended for a further three months if they fail to pay the fine," noted the judge. All three are now lodged at the Coimbatore Central Prison.
