The Horticulture Department is carrying out innovative methods every year to attract tourists for the Ooty Flower Show. Meanwhile, around 3000 varieties of roses have been placed for display at the Rose Garden which have enamoured tourists.
Officials from the Horticulture Department claim that roses made in the name of John Sullivan, the founder of modern Nilgiris are likely to garner the most attention of tourists in the upcoming summer season.
