Tirupur: Union Minister Pon Radhakrishnan was in Tirupur on Tuesday to review the arrangements, in view of PM Modi's visit to Tirupur on February 10.
He along with Coir Board Chairman C.P. Radhakrishnan, TN BJP Secretary, Vanathi Srinivasan reviewed the parking facilities and security arrangements to be carried out at the venue.
Speaking to the media, Pon Radhakrishnan said "We witnessed more than expected crowd at PM Modi's public meeting in Madurai. Hence, we expect more than 2 lakh people to attend PM's meet to be held at Tirupur on February 10".

"Support from Kongu region will surpass Madurai", he added.
When questioned on the comments passed by Lok Sabha Deputy Speaker, Thambidurai on BJP he said "Me and Thambidurai have spoken about this in person. Hence, I am unwillingly to disclose it in public".
