Coimbatore GH doctors save patient's arm by performing artificial artery procedure

A team of doctors from Coimbatore Government Hospital's Vascular department have successfully performed a surgery on a patient and replaced a problematic artery with an artificial artery.

A team of doctors from Coimbatore Government Hospital's Vascular department have successfully performed a surgery on a patient and replaced a problematic artery with an artificial artery. 

Loganathan (52) is a Tailor from Erode. He recently visited Coimbatore GH complaining of numbness and weakened function of his left arm. During examination the doctors at GH  diagnosed arterial injuries in his left arm which  had been causing the problem. 

"The team of Vascular surgeons today successfully operated on Loganathan and replaced the problematic artery with an artificial artery. At present the patient is recovering well", said a statement from the GH.
