Prasanna Kumar (37) is working as an IT engineer in the city. He along with his family were away for a holiday during the weekend. While he returned home today, he was shocked to see his house forced open. As he entered his house he found clothes and things scattered all over the house. Prasanna learnt that burglars had looted 20 sovereign old ornaments from his cupboard along with Rs. 10,000 cash.
He immediately alerted the Singanallur police who rushed to the spot with sniffer dogs. The police are scrutinising the CCTV footages from nearby places to rule out the suspects. Forensic experts have taken traces of finger prints from the house.
