Tirupur: Tirupur Collector, K.S. Palanisamy on Monday carried out an inspection to review the arrangements made for the upcoming Jallikattu to be held on February 3 at Alagumalai.
He along with the Superintendent of Police, Kayalvizhi reviewed the arrangements to ensure if they were made in accordance to the provisions of TN prevention of animal cruelty act. The arena space, vaadivaasal, basic amenities like toilet and drinking water facilities and security arrangements were inspected.
The Collector has ordered to complete the arrangement works by Wednesday.
