Coimbatore: Hundreds of residents who were living for more than 40 years in encroached lands in VKK Menon street near Gandhipuram were relocated to Slum Clearance board's Keeranatham housing unit.
Coimbatore: Hundreds of residents who were living for more than 40 years in encroached lands in VKK Menon street near Gandhipuram were relocated to Slum Clearance board's Keeranatham housing unit.
Pointing that they are unable to travel from Keeranatham to City on a daily basis, the residents have urged to re allot houses within city limits.
As most of the relocated residents work as sanitary workers at City Corporation, they have alleged that they are unable to come to work which starts by 4 am.
