Retired TNEB employee sustains grievous injury in gas cylinder explosion at home in RS Puram

Coimbator : Chinnaraj (58), a retired TNEB employee residing with his family at Kamarajapuram in RS Puram here, sustained grievous injuries when a gas cylinder in his home exploded.

Chinnaraj lived on the top floor of the house in which his son and family resided in the ground floor. In the wee hours of this morning, when Chinnaraj switched on the kitchen light, the gas cylinder reportedly exploded due to gas leakage overnight. Chinnaraj who sustained grievous injuries in the explosion was rushed to the Government Hospital here. The R S Puram police have commenced investigation on the incident.
