Tirupur : The commissioning of train stoppage of train no 56712 Palakkad town to Trichchirappalli fast passenger at Uttukuli station was flagged off by MP Sathyabama in the presence of MLA Thoppu N.D. Venkatachalam of Perundurai constituency and U.Subba Rao Divisional Railway Manager, Salem on Sunday.
Tirupur : The commissioning of train stoppage of train no 56712 Palakkad town to Trichchirappalli fast passenger at Uttukuli station was flagged off by MP Sathyabama in the presence of MLA Thoppu N.D. Venkatachalam of Perundurai constituency and U.Subba Rao Divisional Railway Manager, Salem on Sunday.
MP Sathyabama noted that the railway board has been requested for stoppage of Nilgiri express at Uttukuli and awaiting for approval.
Divisional Manager, U.Subba Rao stated that "Division will undertake the work of lengthening of platform of Uttukuli to accommodate full train and additional water taps and platform shelter will be provided for Uthukuli".
He was added that new urinals will be provided at all station. "Works for setting up of wifi facility at all stations in Salem division is ongoing", he noted.
A.Vijuvin, senior divisional commercial manager, Salem, Harikumar, senior divisional operations manager and M.Shajahan, assistant commercial manager were present.
