Nilgiris : Four people, including a woman was injured as a tourist tempo traveller hit a parked car in Coonoor, here.
According to the police, among the injured were Besty (27), Sheela (58), Roshan (25) and Robin (40). The car passengers were from Kollam, Kerala and on a leisure visit to the Nilgiris, in two cars. They had parked their vehicles on the side of the road to drink water when the tempo traveller carrying tourists from Arakkonam hit the parked cars. The injured were immediately rushed to the Lawley Hospital and were being treated.
The Coonoor police arrested the driver of the tempo traveller, Indhramathi and are investigating the accident.
