Tirupur : A 14-year old girl in Tirupur attempted to create a record here by drawing continuously for eight hours. 



At the art competition 'Junior Picasso' being held in Tirupur, one of the participants, a 14-year old girl Janvi Gandhi attempted to create a record by drawing continuously for eight hours. The girl began her drawing at 9 am, looking to create around 70 to 100 art pieces of cartoons, doodles and modern art, with each taking about 3 to 5 minutes. This was being done in pencil, water colour, charcoal and the drawings will be sent to Indian book of Records and World book of Records. Drawing and colouring competitions were also conducted as part of the event and prizes were distributed to the winners.
