He inspected the guard of honour given by the District Police and NCC Cadets.
He then distributed various welfare schemes to around 245 beneficiaries to a tune of RS. 63 lakhs. 98 Police officials were honoured for their meritorious service.
The Republic Day celebrations concluded with the colourful cultural performances by the students of various schools which enthralled hundreds of spectators.
