Coimbatore : According to a release from the Southern railways "Train no 56712 Palakkad town to Tiruchirappalli Junction fast passenger has been provided with temporary stoppage at Uttukuli for a period of six months from January 27 to July 26. This train will stop at Uttukuli at 09.24hrs and will depart at 09.25hrs daily".

The public in Tirupur have thanked MP Sathyabama's on this account, as she putforth the long-pending plea to the Railway Minister Piyush Goyal at one of the Parliamentary session held recently.
She stressed that this temporary stoppage will serve daily commuters, pilgram passengers and other passengers. Now, with the announcement from the railways on the stoppage at Uthukuli, the public have expressed joy and appreciations to MP Sathyabama for her relentless efforts.
Similarly, Train no 22651 Chennai Central to Palakkad Junction express train has been provided with temporary stoppage at Palaiyam station (Karur to Dindigul Section ) for a period of six months from January 29 to July 29". This train will stop at Palaiyam station at 04.49hrs and will depart at 04.50hrs. On return Train no 22652 Palakkad to Chennai Central Super fast express will stop at Palaiyam station at 20:19 and will depart at 20.20hrs.
