Coimbatore : The crop-raiding Chinnathambi bid farewell to Thadagam area and left to his new home. He was successfully radio-collared and translocated using Kumkis to a lorry.
Coimbatore : The crop-raiding Chinnathambi bid farewell to Thadagam area and left to his new home. He was successfully radio-collared and translocated using Kumkis to a lorry.
The operation to capture Chinnathambi commenced at 6 am today morning. He was given 14 ml of sedative and captured carefully using Kumkis Kalim and Vijay.
It is yet unclear, if Chinnathambi will be translocated to Anamalai tiger reserve or Varagaliyar elephant camp in TopSlip.
