Coimbatore: After a tough three hours fight, wild elephant Chinthambi has been separated from the mother and a calf elephant which has been accompanying the darted Chinnathambi at Thadagam here.
Coimbatore: After a tough three hours fight, wild elephant Chinthambi has been separated from the mother and a calf elephant which has been accompanying the darted Chinnathambi at Thadagam here.
This morning the forest officials tranquilized Chinathambi but however he is yet to shifted to the lorry as he was accompanied by another female elephant and it's calf. Crackers were used to separate the elephants from Chinnathambi and Kumkis were used to chase the other
elephants into the forest.
At last, using crackers the two elephants have been separated and Kumki Kalim is being used to rope Chinnathambi. Shortly, Chinnathambi will leave Thadagam area to start his new life in another location.
