Coimbatore : Following the absence of teachers due to the ongoing teachers' strike which today entered the third day, MLA Amman K Arjunan, Coimbatore (south) legislator has donned the role of a teacher and taught students at a corporation school in Kempatti colony. The MLAs act is drawing appreciations from many quarters.

The students of Kembatti Colony Corporation School had to sit idle as their teachers are part of an ongoing strike. The MLA who came to know about the issue visited the students and started conducting classes. He taught alphabets to the LKG and UKG students.
The MLA also gave writing and reading exercises to the students which made the students and their parents feel happy.

It also brought to the fore the apathy of striking teachers who have not taken into account the education of these young wards.
