Nation wide campaign for peace and humanity by Jamaat-e-Islami Hind

Jamaat-e-Islami Hind is conducting a nationwide campaign themed “Peace & Humanity Campaign” from August 21, 2016 to September 4, 2016. The motto of this campaign is to nurture communal harmony, remove intolerance and to focus our attention and working towards preventing the evil forces from defaming and degrading the respect of our Great Nation in the International arena.

As a part of the campaign efforts, Jamaat’s Coimbatore chapter organized a seminar programme titled “Peace and Humanity” on August 26, 2016 (Friday) at Hotel Park Plaza, Near Government Arts College.



Professor. Ajaz Ahmed Aslam (Editor, Radiance Views Weekly) delivered a special speech on “Peace and Humanity. He emphasised on the necessity of every human to work towards making the law of land and justice to be upheld in every aspect of the life in order to make Peace and Harmony prevalent. He also insisted on cooperation between all the faiths and social activists in order to make our country an example of “Unity in Diversity”.

He also proclaimed that. 'the silence of the good people when evil grips the society is the cause of all social evils'. Hence, urged all the good people to join hands in fighting the social evils in the society.

Senior party members of various Political Outfits, Religion heads and social activists also participated in the meet.



K.A. Syed Ibrahim, President of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Coimbatore Chapter delivered the vote of thanks. Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Coimbatore Chapter’s Public Relations Secretary, Abdul Hakkim, Media Secretary Mohammed Aneez, and other office bearers of the party were present during the meet.
