Madras HC orders Mathew Samuel to refrain from issuing statements on Kodanad issue

Chennai : The Madras high Court has ordered Senior Journalist, Mathew Samuel whose video triggered the Kodanad heist and murder issue from issuing any statements or press meet regarding the Kodandad issue.

Chennai : The Madras high Court has ordered Senior Journalist, Mathew Samuel whose video triggered the Kodanad heist and murder issue from issuing any statements or press meet regarding the Kodandad issue. 

Responding to the plea filed by Chief Minister Edapadi Palanisamy alleging that Mathew Samuel has been baselessly accusing him to defame his position, CM sought a compensation of Re. 1.10 crore.

In this regard, the Court on Wednesday ordered Mathew to refrain from commenting any further on the Kodanad issue.
