Subsidised fertilizer consignment reaches Coimbatore


A consignment of 2664 tons of Urea and allied fertilizer has arrived at the North Coimbatore Railway Station to be distributed to the farmers through co-operative societies at subsidised rates.

The batch of fertilisers' would be distributed to farmers of Coimbatore, Erode, Namakkal, Viluppuram and Udumalpet areas. Currently, the unloading work of the fertilizer is under progress, soon after unloading the consignment would be distributed to designated places through lorries. The fertilizers has arrived from Thoothukudi port and from Panambur, Kerala.
