Coimbatore : Even as a festive throng across the state of Tamil Nadu marked the auspicious day of the Tamil month 'Thai' and the Pongal festival, there has been no dearth for colorful fanfare and traditional celebrations with the famous bull-taming sport 'Jallikattu' and folk preparing 'Pongal' in earthen pots.

Likewise, Pongal was celebrated by the Ananya’s Nana Nani Homes and Builders with colourful flags, cultural programs, games and traditional food served with organic ingredients from ancient recipes, much to the delight of everyone there.

The Fest began with the well-known Tamil cultural dance 'Parayattam' after which a few games like Uri Adi, Stringing of the Jasmine flower and Palmyra Push were conducted for the people gathered there, to celebrate Pongal.

"Every year, we conduct this festival to give our best to our customers and our residents. However, this year‘s celebration has marked something special than ever before," said Uma Yuvaraj, JMD of Ananyas Nana Nani Builders. Prizes were also distributed for the winners of the games.
