Coimbatore: Park Institutions marked Teachers Day 2026 with a special health awareness session for its entire faculty and staff, underscoring its commitment to the well-being of the PARK family. The event featured an expert lecture on natural, sustainable health practices by Dr Pradeep M K Nair, Medical Director and Chief Scientist, Mirakle Integrated Health Center, Pollachi, followed by an interactive question and answer session and key announcements from management.
Er Sathish Kumar, General Manager, Park Institutions welcomed the gathering. The management organised the session as a gift to the institution's working family during the ongoing Teachers Day celebration, emphasising that a healthy, happy faculty is central to PARK's mission.
Dr Pradeep Nair delivered a practical talk on how to eat and live in harmony with natural principles, urging participants to consider naturopathy not as a last resort but as a primary, preventive approach. He explained that while conventional medicines often control symptoms, naturopathic methods aim to address root causes and support the body's innate healing capacity.
A lively question and answer segment allowed faculty and staff to clarify doubts on diet, lifestyle adjustments, and natural remedies for common ailments. Many participants reported that the session helped them reframe everyday choices, especially around food, stress, and daily routines in ways that are simple, sustainable, and aligned with natural living.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Anusha Ravi, CEO of Park Institutions, shared her personal journey with naturopathy, noting significant improvements in energy and well-being. She highlighted her own weight-loss progress achieved through natural methods, and mentioned that she has recommended Dr Pradeep Nair's approach to many friends.
Looking ahead, Dr Anusha Ravi announced plans to launch a health club within the institution where faculty can regularly discuss health concerns and receive guided solutions in the presence of Dr Pradeep Nair. She also indicated that basic blood check-ups will soon be introduced, with further testing and treatment pathways suggested by the doctor as needed.
Principal Dr Lakshmanan thanked the management for arranging the session and expressed gratitude to Dr Pradeep Nair for sharing his time and expertise. He reiterated that such initiatives reflect Park Institutions' holistic vision, nurturing not only academic excellence but also the long-term health of its faculty and staff.
