Coimbatore: Thudiyalur police arrested two persons for kidnapping and murdering a youth from Kavundampalayam recently. Police are on the lookout for other accused.
Raja (25) a worker at a flower shop in Kavundampalayam didn’t return home after work on January 3rd. Feeling doubtful, his family filed a man missing complaint with Thudiyalur police station. During investigation, police recovered several mobile phone conversations of Raja and found that Raja has been kidnapped. Police arrested Raja’s friends, Kali and Dharman and they confessed to the crime.
Police recovered the decomposed body of Raja near Kanuvai check dam yesterday with the help of fingerprint experts. The body was sent to Coimbatore Medical College Hospital for post-mortem. Police are on the lookout for Vijayakumar, Sabari and Nalaendhiran and trying to trace their location with the help of cyber crime experts. Police said that Vijayakumar and Nalaendhiran are already facing charges in murder cases.
