According to police, in 2015, the accused Ganeshan has kidnapped a 14-year-old boy who playing nearby his house in Ottakadu for money. Ganeshan has also attacked the boy. Hearing the case, II Additional District Judge Jiyaputheen sentenced the accused to life imprisonment and imposed Rs 1000 fine on him.
