Chief Minister Edappadi K Palanisami inaugurated a batch of 555 new government buses for different parts of the state on Tuesday.

Out of the 140 buses under Coimbatore region, 42 will be operated in Coimbatore zone, 19 buses in Ooty zone, 41 in Tirupur zone and 38 buses in Erode zone. Coimbatore legislators took part in the event. The event was preponed from tomorrow to meet additional bus requirements during Pongal.
