The Tamil Nadu police are keeping a watchful eye on Hindu outfits in Tamil Nadu, especially in border districts and its leaders following the riots that happened in Kerala after women entered Sabarimala shrine.

Several protests are happening at different parts of Tamil Nadu condemning the Communist party and the Kerala government for permitting women’s entry in the Sabarimala shrine. Recently, Communist flag posts near Singanallur were damaged and posted images of burning the Communist flags in Facebook. Police arrested two Hindu outfit members in the case. Police have been advised to look for protests by Hindu outfits and Communist parties and take necessary precaution.
Police strength at Coimbatore-Kerala border check posts has been increased and police have been deployed for security purposes at Communist party offices here. Hindu outfit leaders are under police surveillance to prevent any law and order issues.
