Nilgiris : The South India Tea Board has announced the minimum procurement price of tea for the month of January as Rs.15.69 per kg. The minimum price of tea manufactured in the Nilgiris are determined based on the auction and announced before the 10th of every month.
The Tea Board has instructed all factories to follow the announced price, failing which stern action will be taken on those found violating the order.
