Coimbatore: The heart and kidney of a 27-year old youth who was declared brain dead, was transported to the Kovai Medical Center Hospital (KMCH) from PSG Hospital in 3 minutes. This was made possible with the support of the Coimbatore City Police who ensured a Green Corridor facility for the transportation from Fun Mall Signal to KMCH.
The transportation was carried out with the consent of the family members of the deceased.
