Coimbatore : The Inner Wheel Club of Coimbatore West is spearheading a food drive in the city to provide food items for senior citizens' homes in the district.
Coimbatore : The Inner Wheel Club of Coimbatore West is spearheading a food drive in the city to provide food items for senior citizens' homes in the district.
As part of the initiative, the Club has placed collection boxes at leading departmental stores in the city. People can leave food items such as rice, dal, oil, sugar and dry fruits in these collection boxes. The boxes will be collected by January 14 and the food items distributed to the senior citizen homes. The Club has roped in the Interact Club of National Model School to help in the endeavour and placed a collection box at the school.
