Nilgiris : Awareness drive on ill-effects of alcohol consumption held.
An awareness drive on the ill-effects alcohol consumption was conducted by school and college students at Nilgiris today.
Students from over 100 schools and colleges took part in the event which was organised by the district prohibition and excise wing.
District Collector J Innocent Divya flagged off the rally near Ooty bus stand and the rally passed through important streets here. Students raised slogans and held placards regarding the ill-effects of drinking.
