Coimbatore : The two-day Flo Bazaar, a Women Entrepreneur Bazaar (WEB) conducted annually exclusively for women entrepreneurs of all levels in and around Coimbatore was launched today in the city. Dr.Manimekalai Mohan, Chairman, SSVM Group of School inaugurated the exhibition.

The 8th Flo Bazaar is being held on 5th and 6th January at Suguna Kalyana Mandapam here and the event acts as a launch pad for women entrepreneurs to exhibit their products and services. 'Flo Bazaar 2019' has joined Kovai Vizha in celebrating the entrepreneurial spirit and glory of this Coimbatore.
The stalls exhibit and sell all kinds of women’s designer fashion wear, sarees, kids wear, precious, semi-precious handmade Jewellery, home furnishing and decor, bed linen, paintings, natural products in food and cosmetics and various others. The exhibition houses 100 stalls out of which 46 have been given free of charge to grass root level women entrepreneurs, Homepreneurs and NGOs to exhibit their products.
Speaking about the event, Jayanthi Manohar, Chairperson, FICCI FLO, Coimbatore said, "The primary objective of FLO Bazaar is to provide a platform for women entrepreneurs in and around Coimbatore to launch and promote their services and products. An aspiring entrepreneur can showcase her product or service irrespective of falling under the top, middle or at the grass root level.
The Bazaar venue is divided into two sections, one is paid category of stalls where the top and middle-level entrepreneurs are charged for the stalls at nominal rates. The other is the free category of stalls where space is provided for grass root level entrepreneurs from Coimbatore, neighbouring villages and tribal women from Coimbatore and nearby areas to sell their products".
