Coimbatore : The physical fitness test and screening camp for Tamil Nadu Home Guards was held here today.
Out of 73 aspirants who appeared for the test, 52 individuals including 43 men and nine women got selected. The physical benchmarks such as height, weight and chest circumference of candidates were taken as part of the physical test.
Certificate verification was also carried out for the contestants by a group of Home Guard officials including Regional commander T.K. Dhanaekhar, Deputy commandant Thenmozhi and others.
Regional commander T.K. Dhanaekhar said that the final selection list will be released at the earliest.
