Addressing the media in Villupuram, the Chief of the TASMAC Thozhilalar Munnetra Sangam Rajavel said, "Members of 11 unions will boycott their work and go on strike on January 8 and 9. Due to this, 6000 TASMAC shops across the State will be closed since 27,000 TASMAC workers are about to participate in this strike," he added.
