Police was on the lookout for Ashwin (18) a mechanical diploma student, who impregnated his 13-year-old sister. The victim complained about stomach ache for the past few days and her parents took her to Government Hospital for treatment. That’s when the girl’s parents came to know that the girl is pregnant and on the girl’s complaint, Selvapuram police registered a case against Ashwin under POCSO Act and they were trying to arrest him.
Ashwin was on the run knowing police are on the lookout for him. Police arrested Ashwin from his relative’s house and he was produced before Judicial Magistrate V. Ashwin has been lodged in Juvenile Home here.
